LJ Hooker Nerang will contest two categories in the real estate industry’s pre-eminent awards to be held in Sydney in late July.

The New Street agency will be vying for the  title of Top Regional Sales Office in the Real Estate Business Awards for Excellence, in which it has been named a finalist.
 
Also representing the agency at the awards is Customer Service Manager Emily-Jane Megraw, who has been named as a finalist in the Office Administrator of the Year category.
 
LJ Hooker Nerang Principal Shane Colquhoun said he was elated at confirmation of finalists in separate disciplines.
 
“As a national competition, the calibre of entrants is exceptionally high – the very best in our industry,” said Mr Colquhoun.
 
“I was thrilled when we were names as finalists in the Top Regional Sales category last year, but with all the challenges we’ve faced in the last 12 months – specifically, the major task of shifting 50 staff to our new purpose-built address in New Street – the fact we’re a finalist in two categories this year is an amazing result for the team.
 
“I have to pay particular credit to Emily-Jane who was central to the co-ordination of the move as well, and I’m ecstatic that her diligence has again been recognised throughout the industry.”
 
Ms Megraw’s acceptance as a finalist in her category comes after she took out the Real Estate Institute of Queensland’s equivalent category in 2018.
 
The REB Awards will be held in Sydney on July 28.
